FAQs

What is a BFF?

Think of a BFF as your very own Money Coach, or as we like to put it, your Personal Trainer for money. Your BFF is your friend and mentor who will help you flesh out your relationship with money, your goals, mindset and give practical actions to help improve those money behaviours that are keeping your from achieving your goals.

How do I meet with my BFF?

You meet with your BFF via a video conferencing software called Zoom which allows you to have a face-to-face experience with a real person without leaving the comfort of your home. So feel free to throw on your UGG boots, grab a cup of tea (or a wine perhaps?), switch on your computer, launch your Zoom link and away you go!

What tech do I need to meet with my BFF?

All you need is:

  • A computer equipped with a working webcam, microphone and speakers
  • A reliable internet connection as the Zoom calls will run online
  • Access to a web browser to set up some tools which will help you achieve those goals
  • Microsoft Office to open up some of the files and activities your BFF will send you

If at any point you need help with the tech side of things, don’t hesitate to reach out to our BFF Support team. They will help get you set up with easy to follow instructions. We can even jump on a call and talk you through it – don’t worry – we are real people who get that the tech life is not for everyone.

Am I locked into a contract?

Absolutely not! While we do recommend sticking with the BFF program, we are also mindful that we do not want you paying for anything that is not bringing you results or that you are not using. We refuse to be that gym membership that you keep paying for but don’t use – it’s not in our DNA. If you stick with us, it will be purely because you love the program and it’s working for you. We are so confident that our program works that we even have a money back guarantee.

If you don’t save more than our fees in the first six month’s we’ll refund your money. No questions asked. Only catch is you must have completed your action items that your BFF has set for you.

What package should I choose?

Many of our members tend to choose the ‘Do It With Me’ package but this is completely up to you and your needs. Our exclusive BFF Money Quiz may help you decide how much help you need and you can visit our Packages page for more information on each package and its suitability for each money personality.

Can I cancel any time?

Again, it is not in our DNA to keep you here if the BFF program is not working for you. All you need to do is give us 30 days written notice and we will cancel your account. You will still be eligible to use any meetings you have unlocked up until the cancellation date.

How secure is BFF and the tools you use?

Our website, BFF Platform and BFF Life app force HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL) secure connections and have an encryption strength up to 256-bit and a 2048-bit signature key.

For billing purposes, we use Stripe as our secured billing platform and MyProsperity to manage accounts and categorisation. One of the main reasons we have selected these tools is for their bank level security.
